If we don't already know each other through social media or from having worked together, my name is Melissa Farkouh. I am a speech-language pathologist specializing in bilingualism with pediatric and elementary school-aged clients for 13 years now, and the owner of Clinique Mot-Pour-Mot.
As a trilingual individual myself, a second-generation Egyptian, and a mother of two wonderful bilingual children, I have always been interested in the richness of languages and multilingualism. On a daily basis, I support not only bilingual families who come to me, but also educators and teachers who work with these children with special needs. Over the past four years, I have also focused on workshops dedicated to those seeking to learn more about allophone, bilingual, or multilingual children, and this is exactly what led me to develop the "The Bilingual Child: Effective Intervention" training.
I am passionate about teaching evidence-based interventions, the REAL facts. I offer strategies, activities, and tools built and based on my clinical experience as well as my reading of scientific articles.
