Speech-language pathologists will also be introduced to the obstacles related to the assessment and intervention of children from linguistically and culturally diverse backgrounds.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAdditionally, speech-language pathologists will be prompted to reflect on the various factors that influence the linguistic development of bilingual children and to consider the cultural and linguistic biases of \"traditional\" assessment, in order to assess appropriately with all the tools at their disposal.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eClinicians will be presented with clinical vignettes, numerous examples of cultural considerations, inclusive action plans, and assessment and intervention approaches in a bilingual context, to be able to paint a linguistic picture of the child, their learning potential, and intervene effectively.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn short, this is a practical workshop pre-recorded in 3 major modules + a BONUS toolkit.
